Is God Pleased?
We live in an era where, at least in the United States, Christianity seems to be a word, not a way of life.
In other countries, revealing that your a Child of God may mean your life, or at the least financial, physical and emotional problems.
We are told that we must not ?force? our beliefs on others. We must not wear a cross or christian symbols. We are not allowed to speak against activities or persons that exhibit non-Christian tendencies. In other words SIN!
Some have been arrested for displaying the ten commandments of displaying a photo of Christ on the desk at their office.
We fear for our jobs, we fear for our finances, we fear discrimination (It?s alright to discriminate against Christians, but don?t discriminate against SIN.
Depression is abounding in the United States and we find a boom in the pharmaceutical industry. We are offered pills to sleep, pills to conquer depression, pills for pain, pills for anxiety, pills to regulate our bowels, pills for just about everything. Haven?t we learned that God created this body and He knows what we can do to fix it.
There are scriptures that pretty much attribute sickness to sin. There is the ?original sin? which leads us to ultimate ?death?. There are the sins we commit often, if not daily. There are sins of our thoughts, sins of our deeds and sins of omission. With the abounding of sin, is it any wonder we have an increase in sickness.
Yes, God gave us doctors, and medicine. Think, could it be that we have medicine to make up for our lack of faith?
